Is soldering required? +
Yes — some basic soldering is needed to connect the LED strip to the PCB (3 wires: power, data, ground). It's a beginner-friendly build. If you're new to soldering, there are plenty of short tutorials online for connecting SK6812 strips to an ESP32 board.
Can I control it with the WLED app? +
Yes. The PCB ships pre-flashed with WLED firmware. Download the free WLED app on iOS or Android, connect to the same Wi-Fi network, and you have full control over 117+ effects, colour palettes, brightness, and playlists.
What can I build with this kit? +
Anything — custom tube lights, panel fixtures, stage props, architectural accents, wearables, or any creative LED installation. The SK6812 RGBW strip gives you a true white channel alongside full RGB colour mixing for clean, accurate lighting in any colour.
Can multiple kits sync wirelessly? +
Yes. The RF sync link lets multiple PCB kits run in perfect sync with no cables between fixtures. Range is typically 30+ meters line-of-sight. You can also sync over Wi-Fi using WLED's built-in sync feature for precise per-pixel control across all units.
