Do I need a DMX controller?

No — the kit is fully plug-and-play. The wireless RF transmitter syncs all tubes without any external controller, software, or programming. Power on and perform.

How do I set up the kit?

Charge all tubes via USB-C. Power on the transmitter, then power on the tubes — they'll sync automatically within seconds. Select your animation via the companion app or cycle presets with the onboard button on each tube.

How many tubes can sync to one transmitter?

Up to 24 tubes per transmitter, all fully synchronized.

How long does the battery last?

Up to 8 hours of continuous use on a full charge, depending on brightness level and animation mode. High-intensity effects at full brightness will reduce runtime.

How long does it take to charge?

2–3 hours from empty via USB-C. All tubes can charge simultaneously using standard USB-C chargers or a USB hub.

Can I use the tubes while they're charging?

Yes — the tubes can operate while connected to a USB-C power source, making them suitable for permanent installations.

What is the wireless range?

Up to 100m (330ft) line-of-sight. In dense venues with obstructions, expect 30–60m of reliable range.

Will the tubes stay in sync?

Yes — the RF link maintains tight synchronization across all tubes simultaneously. There's no noticeable latency between fixtures.

Does it interfere with Wi-Fi or other wireless gear?

The tubes use a dedicated RF frequency separate from Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, so interference is minimal in most environments.

What app do I need?

The WLED LAB companion app, available on iOS and Android. It lets you browse all 500+ animations, adjust brightness, set timers, and group multiple transmitters.

Can I use these with a DMX controller?

Yes — the transmitter accepts standard DMX512 input if you want manual fixture control from a lighting desk.

What about the WLED tubes?

The WLED DMX tubes use WLED firmware and are compatible with the full WLED/ESP32 ecosystem — including E1.31, DDP, Hyperion, Home Assistant, xLights, and browser-based control.

Are the tubes water resistant?

Yes — IP54 rated for dust and splash resistance. Suitable for outdoor use in light rain. Not rated for full submersion or high-pressure water jets.

Can I mount them on a truss or stand?

Yes — each tube includes a tripod stand. The 1/4-20 thread mount is also compatible with standard light stands and truss clamps.

How long does shipping take?

SFX RGBW Wireless Tube Kits typically arrive within 1–2 weeks. WLED DMX RGBW Kits and Wireless WLED PCB Kits can take up to 4–6 weeks depending on current stock. Email team@wledlab.com for an exact estimate before ordering.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We ship from the United States. International customers are responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs fees. Delivery times for international orders may be extended due to customs processing.

Can I return or cancel my order?

All purchases are final once the order has been shipped. We do not offer refunds after shipment. All customers sign a purchase agreement acknowledging this before checkout.

What if my item arrives damaged or faulty?

Contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and clear photo or video evidence of the issue. We'll review the claim and arrange a replacement if it qualifies. Claims submitted after 7 days may not be eligible.

What if my package says delivered but I can't find it?

Once a carrier marks an order as delivered, it is considered fulfilled. Please contact the shipping carrier directly to file a missing package claim. We recommend also checking with neighbors and any secure locations on your property.

Can I dispute a charge with my bank?

Please contact us first at team@wledlab.com before initiating any chargeback or payment dispute. All customers sign a purchase agreement at checkout, and we reserve the right to submit that agreement as evidence in the event of a dispute.

What is the warranty?

SFX RGBW Wireless Tube Kits come with a 2-year warranty covering manufacturing defects under normal use. The warranty does not cover physical damage, water damage beyond IP54 conditions, or hardware/firmware modifications. WLED DMX Tubes and PCB Kits are sold as-is with no warranty returns.
